1. What this site is

All About Drinks is a reference work about drinks — their history, culture, preparation and characteristics. It is free to read, has no paywall, sells nothing and takes no sponsorship from drinks producers. Our full commitments are in the Educational Disclaimer and Editorial Policy.

Content on this site is general information, not professional advice. Nothing here is medical, nutritional, legal or safety advice, and nothing about caffeine, alcohol or any ingredient should be relied on for decisions about your health — see the Medical & Health Disclaimer. 3. Alcohol content and age

Parts of the encyclopedia describe alcoholic drinks for historical, cultural and educational purposes. That content is intended for readers of legal drinking age in their own country, is clearly labelled, and never encourages consumption. Our approach is set out in the Responsible Drinking Policy. Wholesale copying, scraping for republication, or presenting our content as your own is not permitted without written consent. Trade marks and brand names mentioned in articles belong to their respective owners; their appearance is purely descriptive and implies no affiliation or endorsement.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: attempt to disrupt or overload the site; probe or breach its security; use automated tools to bulk-download content beyond ordinary search-engine indexing; submit unlawful, defamatory or deliberately false material through our forms; or use the site to promote the sale of any product. We may block access that breaches these terms.

Articles link to external sources, including public-health authorities and reference works. We choose links carefully but do not control external sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. A link is a citation, not an endorsement.
